I was very inspired by the cinematics of Halo Wars 2 and Halo Infinite, especially the introduction of this new chapter. Also I like humanoid character so I decided to create a new brute inspired a lot from Atriox. I imagined that Atriox has a brother, Merax.
This one was more dangerous than Atriox himself, he was banished by his brother from his clan, judged too intense and instable to fulfill Atriox plans.
After the disappearance of Atriox and Escharum, Merax came back to lead the rest of his clan and trying to find a new planet for his kind.
However, his brutality and his strenght was feared by all.
